Let’s practice “There is / There are” in a fun way!
This game is about grammar and vocabulary. The goal is to say as many words as possible to describe each place.
Rules:
- Roll the dice to spot a square, for example, Zoo. Then, the student or group has to say as many things that exist in the zoo ( lion, zookeeper, cages, giraffe, trees, etc.
- Each word worths one point, if a word has been said before in another round it is worth half a point.
- The goal is to leave home and cross the city to get to the park. Once the student or group gets there the teacher sums the number of points.
- The winner is the student or group that has more points (that has said more words).
The rules may be changed as you like.
